How to measure your RV for a cover

Do i have to measure my RV to buy a cover？ The answer is YES.  Choosing a cover that fits your RV's size best will better protect the RV.  Usually there is a big discrepancy between the size the RV manufacturer provides and the size you actually measure out. 

To get started the measurement, you only need tape measure, pen and paper for record.

How to correct measure your RV? 

Step 1, Measure the length of the RV from bumper to bumper, including ladder, spare tire or bike rack behigh the RV. Do not include the hitches or propane tank in your measurement. Our covers are designed to acommodate typical equipment like AC units, mirrors and awnings.

Step 2, Measure the height of your RV from the top of the outside roof to the bottom of the frame. Do not measure to the top of the wheel or to the ground.

Step 3, Measure the width of the RV from side to side. Go to the front of the RV or trailer and measure the widest part. Do not include awings or mirrors.

When choosing the RV cover, it should be a little loose when you put it on. Once in place the cover can be tightened and secured with straps.
